A new year; new beginnings. I'm sure I'm not the first to start a blog shortly after the new year, but I'll hopefully be one of the few who maintain it past the first few posts.
I ended my year surrounded my close friends, and made some new ones. 2011 was an amazing year in a lot of ways. I got my first dog, Ed. I moved in with a girlfriend for the first time in my life. The move brought me to NDG, a part of Montreal I had always wanted to live in. The relationship didn't last, but I still have the dog and the apartment.
I have some goals set for myself in 2012. I hadn't really thought of them as resolutions, but I suppose that is the right term. So 2012, be prepared. I'll be performing my first solo shows of new material. I'm going to read more. I'll maintain this blog and try to do make it something worthwhile. I even intend on doing at least a couple of standup gigs.
